A FRESH AND POWERFUL NEW VOICE ON THE UK & IRISH SCENE
BLÁNID is a London-based Irish indie-folk artist, whose rich, transcendent vocals and profound storytelling have the power to transport you from grief to ecstasy – and everywhere in between.
She has garnered plays across BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, RTÉ Radio 1 and more; TV appearances on RTÉ 1's The Late Late Show, Fingal Sessions, All Arts TV & PBS; and was the featured vocalist on both Netflix’s ‘The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf’ anime film, and 2023’s ‘Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin’ video game - where she also co-composed the end credits music with award-winning composer Brian D’Oliveira.
A viscerally emotive performer, BLÁNID has well over 100+ shows under her belt, including major Celtic folk festivals TradFest & Celtic Connections, a UK support tour with American folk icon Judy Collins, and a performance at The National Gallery with Isabella Summers (Florence and the Machine). In 2024, she signed with Mahogany for song distribution, was handpicked for a chamber choir Abbey Road session with Jacob Collier, and contributed to a Guinness World Record-breaking streamed concert celebrating female songwriters.
Named in The Irish World’s ‘Ones to Watch’ 2024 and recently featured in Spotify’s Most Beautiful Songs playlist with her song Funeral Suit, she has amassed over a million streams.
BLÁNID is currently finishing writing her debut album, set for release in early Summer 2026.
